Bitcoin core miners vs all other miners... Why do they choose corruption?

In the history of cryptocurrency, has there ever been a crypto currency where the original development team and/or the dominant implementation of a cryptocurrency has become corrupt, and the miners responded by switching implementations and changing their nodes to support a no corrupt version.
It seems to me that the main implementation and original teams of each currency has never been kicked out via miner choice.
Like the core developers, even though they aren't necessarily original developers, they do hold the miner majority despite how corrupt they have become.
Why have miners in every cryptocurrency never switched their node together to avoid corruption? If this has never happened does this mean the mechanism is broken?

Andreas in Jan 2016 on nodes vs miners and their contribution to bitcoin network: "Node count is a lot less important than miners. Validating on the way to the miners is important for propagation, but bitcoin network has no problem with latency or propagation. The current number of nodes is fine"

Solar panels vs bitcoin miner?

I am thinking of getting solar panels because I feel electricity bills will continue to rise in the future and I have heard of people who have solar panels and never pay any energy bills ever and just live off the sun.
However, once I get the panels, there will be no sun at eg night or the evening when it is dark, so I will need some way to store electricity harvested during the days. This is where a battery like the Tesla Powerwall comes in. However, one Tesla Powerwall costs $15k and I was wondering if you can achieve something similar with a simply bitcoin mining setup eg you have solar panels and then simply mine bitcoin and the bitcoin you mine is effectively your stored power that you can use to buy power when it is dark.

Why does it seem like its a fight between Bitcoin Core vs Miners?

Since when are miners bad? I thought miners were the backbone of bitcoin, wouldn't miners make less money if btc dropped in value? which makes them lose their investments in farms? aren't miners the heaviest investors in btc?
Explain to me please because I am confused about this whole thing. Because it seems to me like a cock measuring contest between Core and miners (Not trying to push any agenda)
